Summer time favorite is a "Matsuri (festival)". During summer throughout Japan a Matsuri is held in hundreds of cities and towns. If you are adventurous enough, you can climb up on the Mt. Fuji in July and August. Mt. Fuji is the tallest mountain in Japan.

Air Canada to cancel their Osaka flights effective October 25, 2008!

Air Canada's last Osaka flight leaves Vancouver on October 24, 2008. This flight is returning back to Vancouver on October 25. If you
have confirmed flights beyond October 24/25, you should receive a flight schedule change notice from Air Canada next week.
Delta, Northwest agree to merge creating world’s biggest airline!

ATLANTA — Delta Air Lines and Northwest Airlines will merge in an all-stock transaction with a combined enterprise value of
US$17.7 billion, creating the world’s largest airline. The new carrier will be called Delta and Delta CEO Richard Anderson
will be chief executive officer of the combined company.

If you are spending a couple of days in Tokyo, you cannot afford to miss this
fabulous offer from the JR East.
You can get a N'EX (Narita Express limited express train which links between
the Narita airport and the Tokyo Metropolitan area or the Narita airport and
Yokohama) and a Suica prepaid card
